So… by now you’ve read the Welcome blog post, and you’ve got some sort of understanding on what LLO really is… but who is Stephanie anyway?
In case you’re wondering who I am, and why I’m doing this, or perhaps why I’m “qualified” (ugh, I hate that word) to do this, read on.
Firstly, I am a 35 year old mom of 2 living in the Greater Toronto Area. I’m married to my husband Jay, who you’ll probably see in some product review videos and he will likely serve as my camera man for 99% of these product review videos (he doesn’t know this yet LOL hi babe, thanks for reading haha). I have 2 daughters, aged 7 months and 4 years, and a beautifully awkward medium-sized dog named Tuna. We live a quiet, happy life in a small house filled with girly toys, .
I have a degree in fine arts (Illustration) and have taken many courses in web design, graphic design, digital marketing, SEO, and even adult education. I’ve worked in some large and small companies all over the Greater Toronto Area, mainly in social media and graphic design. I’m also a freelance writer, and have written articles for parenting websites in the past (when I was young and cool, I also reviewed restaurants, concerts and events!). I love being creative, I love researching, and I love helping people. Those three things I just mentioned are huge reasons why I started LLO!
You might wonder what makes me qualified to do this, more specifically, qualified to give tips and advice. Well, I’m not actually qualified! I just want to share honest truths, honest product reviews, and important Canadian news with other Canadian parents. I don’t claim to be a parenting expert, and I am always open to learning about unique experiences and individual stories that each family has to tell. Everything you read here, I write because I think it will be helpful. That’s what LLO is about- helping. Whether it’s helping someone win an awesome prize, or helping a new mom navigate her way through baby poop problems, I’m just happy to help!
If you’d like to follow my adventures on Instagram, feel free to follow me @oh.hey.steph. Oh and my dog has an instagram too (haha I know, I know). You can follow Tuna @hernameistuna. She’d love it if you commented and liked her photos, she needs some friends.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you like it here!
